Traffic flow and organization on National Highway 31, section Km75 - Km99

BAC NINH - Due to the impact of storms and rain, on National Highway 31 at Km96+800 in Van Son commune (Bac Ninh), new horizontal and vertical cracks have appeared on the road surface, with a subsidence of about 1m compared to the current road surface, 30m long. On October 1, the Department of Construction issued a notice on traffic diversion and organization on National Highway 31, section Km75 - Km99 passing through the communes of Son Dong, An Lac, and Van Son.

To ensure safety for people and vehicles participating in traffic on National Highway 31, the Department of Construction divides and organizes traffic and recommends vehicles participating in traffic as follows: Prohibit all vehicles from participating in traffic on National Highway 31 through Km96+800 in Van Son commune.

At Km96+800 on National Highway 31 through Van Son commune ( Bac Ninh ), a new situation of horizontal and vertical cracks and subsidence of the road surface has arisen.

Vehicles traveling on National Highway 31, through the communes of Son Dong, An Lac, Van Son at Km96+800 to Thai Binh commune, Lang Son province and vice versa are as follows: Follow National Highway 31 to Tan Hoa intersection, turn right, enter National Highway 279 to the intersection with Provincial Road 248, enter Provincial Road 248 at the end of Bac Ninh province, continue along Provincial Road 248 of Lang Son province to the intersection with National Highway 4B, turn right, enter National Highway 4B to the intersection with National Highway 31, enter National Highway 31 to Km96+800 and vice versa.

For large transport vehicles traveling on National Highway 31, the section passing through the communes: Son Dong, An Lac, Van Son (Km96+800) to Thai Binh commune, Lang Son province and vice versa as follows: Follow National Highway 31 to Tan Hoa intersection, turn right, go onto National Highway 279 to Bac Giang - Lang Son expressway, turn right onto Bac Giang - Lang Son expressway, go all the way to the end of the expressway, turn onto National Highway 1A towards Lang Son province, go to the intersection with National Highway 4B, turn right onto National Highway 4B, go to the intersection with National Highway 31, turn right onto National Highway 31 to Km96+800 and vice versa.

Traffic diversion time is from 3 p.m. on October 1 until further notice. In addition, people and vehicles participating in traffic must follow the instructions of functional forces, road management units, and local authorities to move through available routes.
