Meey Group received ISO/IEC certification for information security management system

Meey Group has just been officially awarded ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification by the British Standards Institute (BSI), the highest international standard for information security management systems (ISMS).

This is an important milestone, affirming the data management capacity, security commitment and sustainable development orientation of Vietnam's leading real estate technology enterprise.

At the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Tam, Chief Representative of Hanoi Office, BSI Vietnam, on behalf of the international organization, awarded the certificate to Meey Group. She highly appreciated the efforts and seriousness of the enterprise in perfecting the information security management system, complying with global standards.

Since 2025, Meey Group has been one of the few Vietnamese technology enterprises to achieve ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification from BSI. Upgrading to version 2022 demonstrates a commitment to continuous improvement, while strengthening Meey Group's pioneering position in the field of real estate technology (PropTech).

According to experts, ISO/IEC 27001:2022 brings many improvements compared to the old version, especially in the structure and scope of controls. The number of controls has been restructured to 93 items in 4 topic groups: organization, people, physical and technology, helping businesses manage risks more easily and effectively. The new version also adds content on cloud security, supply chain security and cyber incident response, in line with the trend of business operations in the digital age.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Hoang Mai Chung, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Meey Group, shared: “The journey from ISO/IEC 27001:2013 to version 2022 is a testament to Meey Group's spirit of continuous improvement. For a business that processes millions of sensitive real estate data every day, achieving this certification is a commitment to customers, partners and shareholders that all information entrusted to it is protected at the highest level according to global standards."

To achieve this certification, Mr. Chung said that Meey Group has undergone an elaborate preparation process: completing the entire internal process, upgrading technology infrastructure, training a team of experts to achieve international certification and synchronously deploying advanced security solutions.

“This is the result of the perseverance, solidarity and open-mindedness of the entire team - who always put data security and operational transparency first,” he emphasized.

Representing the business community in the industry, Mr. Nguyen Manh Quynh, Deputy General Secretary of the Vietnam Association of Realtors (VARS), also sent his congratulations to Meey Group: “The ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification is a testament to the technological development capacity, risk management ability and data security commitment of Meey Group, a typical member of VARS. This is not only a step forward for the business but also contributes to enhancing the reputation and competitiveness of Vietnamese technology enterprises in the international market."

Mr. Quynh highly appreciated Meey Group's contributions to the digital transformation of the real estate industry, especially data solutions and digital transaction platforms that help improve market transparency and efficiency. He said that this is a typical example of how a Vietnamese enterprise proactively integrates internationally through standardizing operations and investing in technology.

As Meey Group accelerates its international IPO journey, ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification is strategically important as it helps the business meet the strict standards of the global capital market.

Previously, Meey Group worked directly with NASDAQ (USA) and international consulting partners such as Loeb & Loeb LLP (USA), YKVN (Vietnam), Marcum Asia, TÜV Nord (Germany) and BSI (UK) to standardize the operating model according to international standards.

Along with ISO 9001:2015 on quality management, ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification is considered an important foundation to help Meey Group improve transparency, strengthen trust with partners, investors and customers, and create a competitive advantage when entering the international market./.
