Accordingly, on September 27, at the National Convention Center, MICE EXPO 2024 will take place, with 500 businesses and 800 delegates expected to attend. At the event, tourism businesses will organize trade promotion activities with meetings of 150 sellers who are hotels, cruise ships, destinations, event venues, golf courses, event equipment suppliers, gifts and 500 buyers who are representatives of travel companies, event companies, and media companies.
At the same time, the Vietnam Tourism Association organized the Vietnam MICE Tourism Development Forum with the participation of about 300 units and businesses. The survey - product development and organization of the VMC Golf Cup 2024 tournament to create MICE tourism products combined with sports , took place on September 28-29 in Ha Long (Quang Ninh).
General Secretary of the Vietnam Tourism Association Vu Quoc Tri said that with the theme "Vietnam - Green Destination of MICE Tourism", the organizing committee of MICE EXPO 2024 hopes to target potential partners of Vietnam's green tourism destinations. At the same time, it will promote the responsibility of the tourism community such as destinations, travel agencies and tourists to join hands to build green destinations, protect the environment and reduce waste.
Chairman of the Vietnam MICE Club Nguyen Duc Anh shared that MICE tourism is bringing great potential to Vietnam tourism, but how to exploit it and how effectively it is still needs to be evaluated by the market because many Vietnamese businesses are just starting out in MICE tourism, so there are still many problems.
At the MICE EXPO event, the Organizing Committee will invite a number of foreign partners who are large potential markets of Vietnam such as Korea, Thailand, etc. to exchange two-way information and share experiences in doing business in this type of tourism.
MICE EXPO 2024 is organized with the aim of promoting the development of MICE tourism commensurate with the potential and strengths of Vietnam tourism, contributing to the rapid and sustainable development of Vietnam tourism. MICE EXPO 2024 is an opportunity for tourism businesses and service providers to meet, exchange information, learn about market trends, products, expand joint ventures, partnerships, and sign cooperation contracts in the field of MICE tourism.
At the same time, MICE EXPO 2024 also creates a forum to discuss visions, evaluate opportunities and challenges to develop MICE tourism in Vietnam in a professional, effective and sustainable direction, associated with the green transformation and digital transformation orientation of Vietnam tourism.
