Specifically, in Huu Kiem commune, the road above Hom village connecting to Na Chao was completely blocked due to landslides from the hill, covering the surface of National Highway 7.
In Huoi Tu commune, due to heavy rain on the evening of July 27, a section of National Highway 16 passing through Trung Tam village of Huoi Tu commune was eroded and temporarily blocked (at Km 380 + 770, near the 8th Youth Volunteer Team).
Huoi Tu commune authorities said they will try to clear the road as soon as possible and will notify again when the road is clear.

A group of reporters from Nghe An Newspaper, Radio and Television working at the flood epicenter of My Ly recorded that in My Ly commune, Bac Ly from the late afternoon of July 27 to the early morning of July 28, there was very heavy rain causing the river water level to rise.
Heavy rains caused some minor landslides in My Ly, flooding the road near My Ly Medical Station (which is currently flooded). Therefore, the local authorities have decided to temporarily close the relief goods receiving point for Nhon Mai people in My Ly commune.

Secretary of the Nhon Mai Commune Party Committee - Mr. Mac Van Nguyen said: "Because of the heavy rain at night, the road collapsed, the river water flowed strongly, causing danger to the boats transporting relief goods from My Ly to Nhon Mai (about 2 hours by boat/trip). All relief goods in Nhon Mai commune will be received at the Xoi Voi boat station (traveling via National Highway 48)".
From the boat landing point in Xoi Voi village, Nhon Mai commune, goods will be transported by boat along Nam Non river to reach the commune center and the isolated village.
