(Baothanhhoa.vn) - The desire to start a business and get rich with your own hands and brains is probably the biggest desire of many young people in their journey to establish themselves and their careers. However, many young people still have not figured out what their career is and where to start. Therefore, activities of accompanying, consulting, career guidance, and job introduction for young people are the "bridge" that brings young people closer to the path of starting a business and successfully establishing a career.

The Provincial Youth Union coordinated to organize a day of counseling, career guidance, enrollment, and job introduction for union members and youth in Thanh Hoa city.

Exam season counseling and career orientation for students, university students, union members and youth have long been an annual activity, carrying many meanings of the provincial Youth Union at all levels. In recent years, exam season counseling and career orientation activities continue to receive attention and innovation from the Provincial Youth Union by expanding the subjects of counseling to junior high school and high school students, university students and union members and youth in need of employment; expanding the subjects of counseling to businesses in the province. This activity has contributed to changing the awareness of students and parents about studying and career issues; gradually concretizing the training and vocational training for high school graduates in the province.

In early April 2025, Thanh Hoa Medical College coordinated with Save the Children Organization, medical facilities, businesses, and individuals employing labor to organize a Career Orientation, Consulting, and Job Introduction Day for students in 2025. The festival attracted nearly 3,000 students to participate with more than 2,000 positions and job opportunities introduced and connected.

At the program, 15 enterprises, employers, training facilities inside and outside the province have implemented many activities such as: Promoting and introducing training forms, in-depth career counseling, vocational training, recruitment, in which, there are many units with high demand for labor, with high salaries and benefits such as: Phuc Thinh General Hospital, Mega Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company, An Sinh Medical Investment and Development Joint Stock Company, Dai An General Hospital, CPC1 Hanoi Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company, Medic Medical System...

At the consultation session, Master Hoang Linh, Vice Principal of Thanh Hoa Medical College emphasized: “The 2025 Career Orientation and Job Introduction Day is one of the school's annual activities to strengthen cooperation between the school and medical units and labor supply units, with the goal of raising awareness, changing attitudes about career opportunities and fostering and developing capacity and soft skills for students. At the same time, it is a bridge to help students have the opportunity to contact and find job opportunities in accordance with their majors at reputable units and enterprises.

Previously, on January 12 at Hong Duc University, the Department of Higher Education (Ministry of Education and Training), Tuoi Tre Newspaper in collaboration with the Department of Education and Training of Thanh Hoa, the Provincial Youth Union, and Hong Duc University organized the program "Admissions Consulting - Career Guidance in 2025". The program aims to help parents and students access official, accurate and complete information, thereby considering and making appropriate choices for their future.

At the program, teachers and experts from state management agencies and prestigious training institutions directly answered concerns and questions about choosing a major and career that suits their abilities and family economic conditions, helping students make better study choices, in line with future employment trends. Along with that, the Advisory Board informed many important contents about the 2025 High School Graduation Exam; parents and students also learned about training institutions at 80 consulting booths. Here, students met and exchanged directly with school representatives, learned about study conditions, scholarships, tuition fees, dormitories, study abroad information, international training cooperation programs, etc.

The program of counseling, career guidance, and job introduction for young people is a key activity that is always coordinated by the Provincial Youth Union through a series of specific and meaningful activities. Notably, implementing the motto "Each youth union base is a job counseling address, each youth union officer is a counselor", every year the youth union organizations have proactively coordinated with the education and training sector to promote career guidance activities for students; organized many counseling sessions during exam season, choosing schools and careers for students and parents. In the first 6 months of 2025, counseling and career guidance work in schools achieved positive results with 103,211 youth union members, youth, and students receiving counseling, 38,482 youths were introduced to jobs, of which 19,988 youths have stable jobs. Besides, the Youth Union also always focuses on exploiting and applying well the policies of the Party, State and province on labor, vocational training and job creation to support young people.

In the coming time, the Youth Union organizations will continue to focus on promoting recruitment consulting, career guidance, job introduction and labor export connection for a large number of students, union members and young people, focusing on disseminating the State's policies on vocational training and job creation for young people, thereby orienting young people to choose careers and jobs that suit their abilities and strengths. Advise the Party Committees and authorities at all levels to implement policies to support capital sources for young people to develop the economy; at the same time, regularly monitor and grasp the labor and employment situation of young people to provide realistic career orientation.
