Agricultural Bank Insurance Joint Stock Company (ABIC, stock code: ABI) has just announced a change in the number of outstanding shares from nearly 72.4 million shares to more than 101.3 million shares. ABIC's charter capital officially increased from VND724 billion to more than VND1,013 billion, an increase of 40%.

The insurance company previously issued nearly 29 million shares to pay dividends and bonuses to shareholders. The number of shares distributed to pay dividends in 2024 at a rate of 20% is nearly 14.5 million shares. The number of shares distributed to increase capital from equity at a rate of 20% is nearly 14.5 million shares. The expected time to transfer shares is October.

It is known that Agribank Insurance is a subsidiary in which Agribank holds a controlling stake. Regarding the business situation, in the first 6 months of this year, ABIC's pre-tax profit reached nearly 183 billion VND, unchanged compared to the same period. With the above results, the enterprise has achieved 58% of the plan for 2025 (315 billion VND).

As of June 30, the company's total assets reached VND4,568 billion, up 5.2% over the end of last year.
