A 10th grade student in Soc Son (Hanoi) was beaten, forced to kneel, and even forced to lick a motorbike license plate by a group of teenagers, causing public outrage.

Previously, a clip was circulated on social media recording a scene where a male student was surrounded by a group of teenagers, continuously scolded, forced to apologize, forced to kneel and call the young men "dad"... One young man in the group even forced the male student to lick the motorbike's license plate.

When this male student did not comply, the other young man kicked him in the face, forcing the male student to lick the motorbike's license plate, but continued to be beaten.

The incident is said to involve students of Minh Phu High School (Soc Son Commune, Hanoi). In a report to the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, Minh Phu High School said that immediately after learning of the incident, the school sent information to Soc Son Commune Police requesting verification and clarification of the incident.

Initially, the authorities determined that the incident occurred on a deserted road in the Duoc Ha resettlement area (Soc Son commune) on October 15. The victim of bullying was N.D.H. (a 10th grade student at Minh Phu High School). The remaining 6 people in the clip are between 15 and 18 years old, all residing in Soc Son commune, including 2 10th grade students at Soc Son Continuing Education Vocational School; the rest are freelance workers.

According to the report, immediately after the incident, the school's Board of Directors, homeroom teachers and representatives of the students' parents visited N.D.H's family to inquire and encourage them. The case is currently being investigated and handled by the Soc Son Commune Police. H. has returned to school and is being assigned a psychological support team by the school to help her stabilize her mental health soon.
