The dispatch stated: According to information from the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, storm Fengshen has entered the eastern sea area of ​​the North East Sea and become storm number 12 in 2025.

Storm No. 12 is forecast to directly impact provinces and cities from Ha Tinh to Quang Ngai in the coming days. This area has complex terrain including mountains, narrow plains and long coastlines, which are vulnerable to natural disasters.

Storm No. 12 combined with cold air is forecast to cause widespread heavy rain, increasing the risk of flash floods and landslides in mountainous areas and flooding in coastal plains; coastal areas face erosion and erosion due to big waves.

To proactively respond, minimize damage and ensure safety for students, teachers, staff and educational facilities, the Ministry of Education and Training requires the Departments of Education and Training of provinces and cities from Ha Tinh to Quang Ngai to strictly implement the following contents.

Firstly, regularly and closely monitor the developments of storm No. 12 and floods, and maintain regular contact with authorities and local rescue forces to promptly respond in case of incidents.

Second, develop plans to ensure safety for students, teachers and education managers; prepare online learning plans and postpone school schedules during complicated stormy days.

Third, review, inspect and consolidate school facilities, especially at remote schools in remote areas, where there is a high risk of landslides or flooding. Move assets, machinery, equipment, desks, chairs, records, and textbooks to safe places to minimize damage, loss, and loss.

Fourth, continuously update information, summarize damages, report to the Provincial People's Committee for remediation, and at the same time report to the Ministry of Education and Training to summarize and report to the Government.
