On the evening of December 11, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Da Nang City Police announced that the unit had just rescued a woman whose foot was pierced by a motorbike brake handle after a traffic collision.
Specifically, at 8:00 p.m. on December 11, the 114 Information Center of Da Nang City Police received news of a traffic accident between two motorbikes on Dong Da Street (Hai Chau District); the victim's foot was pierced by the motorbike's handbrake and he was unable to move.
Fire and rescue forces of Da Nang City Police used specialized equipment to rescue the woman.
Immediately, the 114 Information Center dispatched a specialized vehicle along with officers and soldiers of the Fire Police Department and Rescue Department to the scene.
Upon arriving at the scene, the fire prevention and rescue team found that the female victim had received first aid from the medical team, but her foot was pierced by the motorbike's handbrake and she could not move.
Firefighters and rescuers used hydraulic cutting equipment to quickly cut off the motorbike's handbrake. The female victim was then taken to the hospital for emergency treatment.
