Firefighting drill at Machine Parts Joint Stock Company No. 1

Responding to the National Fire Prevention, Fighting (PCCC) and Rescue Day on October 4, the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police Department (Thai Nguyen Provincial Police) coordinated with Machinery Spare Parts Joint Stock Company No. 1 to organize a fire prevention and rescue drill.

Urgent search and rescue in the hypothetical situation of a large-scale fire at Machine Parts Joint Stock Company No. 1.

According to the hypothetical situation, at 10:40 a.m., a fire broke out in the Mechanical Workshop 1 area (motorcycle spare parts manufacturing function) belonging to Machine Spare Parts Joint Stock Company No. 1. The cause was determined to be an electrical system failure that caused a fire in the office of the administrative building, then a large fire in the entire building. The fire quickly grew, generating a large amount of toxic smoke and gas because it contained many flammable substances inside. Notably, 02 victims fainted due to inhaling toxic gas and were trapped inside.

As soon as the incident was detected, the Company's Fire Prevention and Rescue Team cut off the power, sounded the alarm and shouted; at the same time called the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force and deployed instructions for escape, property rescue and fire prevention.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department urgently dispatched 01 rescue vehicle, 03 fire trucks and 01 ambulance with more than 30 officers and soldiers to the scene and immediately deployed the main attack teams: The reconnaissance team inspected the area, determined the location of the fire, the combustible material, the direction of fire spread and the location of the victim.

The rescue team deployed in a toxic smoke environment to take the unconscious victim to the ambulance; The fire fighting team deployed 2 tanks B and 2 tanks A, took water from the Company's water supply hydrant, controlled, prevented the fire from spreading and completely extinguished the fire.

At about 11:00 a.m., the simulated fire was controlled and completely extinguished.
