(NLDO) – Quang Phu Ward, Da Nang City announced that schools in the area will not accept flowers to congratulate the opening of the school year, and at the same time, there is a letter calling for support for poor students.

On August 13, the People's Committee of Quang Phu Ward ( Da Nang City) issued a document directing the response to activities to celebrate the opening of the new school year at schools in the ward.

Accordingly, the Ward People's Committee agreed in principle that kindergartens, primary schools, and secondary schools in the ward do not accept congratulatory flowers on the occasion of the new school year opening.

Quang Phu Ward People's Committee sent an open letter calling for support for education and training in the ward.

Instead, the People's Committee of Quang Phu ward sent an open letter to agencies, units, businesses, organizations and individuals about supporting education and training in the 2025-2026 school year.

According to the Ward People's Committee, in Quang Phu area there are currently 9 preschool, primary and secondary schools with nearly 5,000 students.

With the spirit of "All for beloved students - Joining hands for the cause of educating people", the People's Committee of Quang Phu Ward calls on agencies, units, businesses, organizations and individuals to pay attention to and support schools and students in the area through various forms, such as: donating additional books to school libraries; awarding scholarships, supporting means and learning materials for poor students and students in difficult circumstances.

Sponsoring projects and items serving entertainment and sports for students. Accompanying schools in programs to care for health, nutrition and school safety.

"The valuable contributions of agencies, units, businesses, organizations and individuals are not only material resources, but also a great source of spiritual encouragement for students and schools to confidently enter the new school year" - the open letter stated.
