Unions and associations join hands to share
One evening in late September, the atmosphere at the school yard of Dinh Bo Linh Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities (Bac Ai Tay Commune) was bustling with nearly 400 students and children in the commune participating in the program "Full Moon Festival Night", with the theme "Lanterns light up dreams" organized by the Provincial Youth Union and the Provincial Youth Union Council. The space was decorated with bright colors, with eye-catching shaped and decorated Mid-Autumn Festival trays and more than 1,000 star lanterns. With many diverse activities, the program brought spiritual values, contributing to lighting up dreams, encouraging children to continue to strive to study and practice. Pupur Thi Thu Thuy, a 9B student at Dinh Bo Linh Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities, shared: "It's been a long time since I've participated in such a fun Mid-Autumn Festival activity. My friends and I got to watch lion dances, break the cake, receive gifts; and receive attention and encouragement from seniors. For me, this is a memorable Mid-Autumn Festival."

Ms. Huynh Thi Nhu Y - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the Provincial Youth Union Council, Director of the Provincial Children's House said: Extending the Mid-Autumn Festival activities for children in remote, isolated and disadvantaged areas, recently, the Provincial Children's House also coordinated to organize the program "Lanterns light up dreams" in Dien Lam and Tay Khanh Son communes. In addition, on the evening of October 5, at Khanh Hoa Children's Cultural Palace, the unit will organize the program "Happy Mid-Autumn Festival" for more than 700 children, team members and students.
In localities across the province, activities to care for children on the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival were also actively organized by all levels of associations and unions. On the morning of October 3, Thuan Nam Commune Youth Union coordinated with volunteer groups to present 250 gifts to children at Phuoc Lap Primary School, with a total value of more than 28 million VND. Mr. Le Xuan Phi - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, Secretary of Thuan Nam Commune Youth Union said: "On October 6, the Commune Youth Union will continue to coordinate to present 218 gifts at Phuoc Ninh Kindergarten to bring joy to the children".

Also on the morning of October 3, units including: Youth Union of the Provincial People's Committee, Youth Union of Provincial Party agencies, Association of Former Cadres of the Provincial Civil Affairs Party, Youth Union of Khanh Hoa Lottery One Member Co., Ltd., Vietcombank Youth Union Nha Trang branch, Youth Union of Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest One Member Co., Ltd. also visited and presented 70 gifts to disadvantaged children being treated at Khanh Hoa General Hospital and Khanh Hoa Tropical Diseases Hospital. On October 4, in Tan Dinh commune, Khanh Hoa Newspaper, Radio and Television Youth Union coordinated with sister units, sponsors and benefactors to organize the program "Moon of Love" for nearly 800 local students with activities such as: Nutritional examination, medicine distribution; giving 800 gifts; awarding 20 scholarships to disadvantaged students; lion dance; cultural exchange...

Schools in the province were also bustling with the atmosphere of the Mid-Autumn Festival. On the evening of October 2, Vinh Ngoc Kindergarten (Western Nha Trang Ward) organized the program "Colorful Mid-Autumn Festival" in a joyful and bustling atmosphere. The school yard was brilliant with colorful backdrops, lanterns, balloons and eye-catching Mid-Autumn Festival trays. The sound of festival drums and the joyful cheers of children mixed with the Lion - Lion - Dragon dance and vibrant performances. The highlight of the program was the fashion show "Colorful Mid-Autumn Festival", where children confidently performed catwalks in their own chosen costumes, unique and impressive costumes carrying the message of environmental protection. Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Nga - Principal of the school shared: “All children can participate and receive Mid-Autumn gifts. This is not only an opportunity for children to have fun and understand more about the meaning of Mid-Autumn Festival, but also helps children to be bolder and more confident, build a spirit of solidarity, pride in the traditional beauty of the nation and develop creativity. This is also an opportunity to connect more closely between the school, family and community to join hands to care for, nurture and educate children”.

More than 270 children of Ninh Hai Kindergarten (Ninh Chu Ward) also participated in the Mid-Autumn Festival held on the afternoon of October 3 with many meaningful activities such as: carrying lanterns under the moon, lion dance, interacting with Hang and Cuoi, breaking the cake, performing arts. At Van Luong Kindergarten (Van Ninh Commune), teachers and children together decorated the classroom, made fruit trays, competed in making lanterns, lion danced, and played tug of war. The school gave 344 gifts, with a total value of more than 10 million VND to the children and 10 gifts with a total value of 1 million VND to poor children. At Au Co Secondary School (Nha Trang Ward), the school organized lantern making classes for students with the spirit of both learning and playing, helping them understand more and preserve the traditional beauty of the nation. On October 6, the "Happy Mid-Autumn Festival" program in 2025 will continue to be held with many contents such as: Honoring outstanding students, performing arts, lion dance, and breaking Mid-Autumn Festival cakes.

In addition to the "Mid-Autumn Festival" program held on the morning of October 3 with activities such as: Performing arts, lion dance, folk games, breaking the trays of food in the classrooms..., in recent days, To Hap Primary School (Khanh Son commune) has also coordinated with other units to organize and give nearly 300 gifts to students in difficult circumstances at the main school and two satellite schools (Ta Luong and Doc Gao villages). In addition, more than 700 gifts of candy were given to all students, 100 sets of gym uniforms were given to students in difficult circumstances from the piggy bank movement fund. Mau Thi Khanh Ngan - a student of class 5D shared: "I feel very happy and grateful to the teachers and uncles for caring for us. I promise to try to be good and study well."
It can be said that each gift, each program and activity on this occasion has contributed to bringing joy and motivation to children in the whole province, especially students with difficult circumstances. Although the gifts are not large, they contain the love, care and sharing of the community, helping the children have a more meaningful Mid-Autumn Festival.
