On October 3 , the Association for the Support of People with Disabilities and Orphans of Quang Ninh province coordinated with the People's Committee of Luong Minh commune and benefactors to organize the program "Happy Mid-Autumn Festival" for students of Luong Mong Kindergarten and Luong Mong Primary and Secondary School.
Through the connection of the Provincial Association for the Support of People with Disabilities and Orphans, Nhan Tam Ha Long Charity Club, Jin Monbay Vietnam Tourism Co., Ltd. and Hong Phong 5-star Cruise Joint Stock Company, 561 gifts were presented to students of Luong Mong Kindergarten and Luong Mong Primary and Secondary School; at the same time, 22 scholarships were presented to students with disabilities, orphans, and those in difficult circumstances, with a total value of 95 million VND.
Also at the program, volunteer groups organized many exciting activities such as cultural exchanges, lantern processions, lion dances, Mid-Autumn Festival feasts... creating a joyful and bustling atmosphere, helping children celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival fully and meaningfully.
This is a meaningful and practical activity on the occasion of Mid-Autumn Festival, demonstrating the care and sharing of the community, contributing to encouraging ethnic minority children in remote areas to overcome difficulties and excel in their studies and life.
