Grasping the aspirations of workers when streamlining the apparatus

Kinhtedothi - Promoting the role of the Trade Union in participating in the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus, ensuring the rights of union members and workers - especially the regime and policies for those who retire early, quit their jobs and assign tasks with lower positions.

The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) has just issued a document requesting that trade unions at all levels participate in implementing the Party's policies and resolutions on innovation and reorganization of the political system.

Accordingly, in Official Dispatch No. 2882/TLĐ-TG sent to the Provincial and Municipal Federations of Labor; Central and equivalent Trade Unions; Trade Unions of Corporations under the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Offices, departments and units under the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor stated: implementing Conclusion No. 106-KL/TW dated December 13, 2024 of the Politburo on the implementation of the summary of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW dated October 25, 2017 of the 12th Party Central Committee on "A number of issues on continuing to innovate and reorganize the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined, effective and efficient" and related documents, the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor requested that trade unions at all levels propagate and mobilize cadres, union members and workers to actively respond to and strictly implement the innovation and reorganization of the apparatus of the political system.

The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor recommends that trade unions at all levels promote their role in participating in the organization and streamlining of the apparatus, ensuring the rights of union members and workers - illustration photo.

In particular, closely following Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW and the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, and the General Confederation's guidance in implementing innovation and reorganizing the political system's apparatus to ensure streamlining, effective and efficient operations, proactively advising competent authorities on the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus, and the arrangement of cadres in trade union agencies and units to ensure streamlining, efficiency, effectiveness and efficiency; promoting the role of the Trade Union in participating in the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus, ensuring the rights of union members and workers - especially the regime and policies for those who retire early, quit their jobs and assign tasks with lower positions.

Along with that, promote propaganda activities on policies, goals, requirements, and tasks of streamlining the political system's organization in the new situation. Strengthen the understanding of the thoughts and aspirations of cadres, civil servants, public employees, union members, and workers to regularly report and reflect to the Party Committee, agency and unit leaders to have appropriate handling plans.

Do a good job of political and ideological education , raise awareness and responsibility to create high consensus among cadres, civil servants, public employees, union members and workers about the urgency and necessity of implementing innovation, restructuring the organization and apparatus, streamlining the payroll to serve the requirements of developing the Trade Union organization and the country's development in the new era - the era of national growth.

Proactively advise the Party Committee on union staff so that after implementing the arrangement and streamlining, there must be a team of cadres, civil servants and public employees in the union system with sufficient qualifications, qualities and capacity to match the tasks; ensuring that the union apparatus at all levels operates continuously and effectively.

Where the Trade Union has an authority or professional agency that is in the process of terminating operations, merging, dissolving, or consolidating, it is necessary to proactively prepare documents and files and promptly settle the union's finances to serve the handover and carry out normal tasks as soon as the apparatus is reorganized.
