Nam Giang admits 81 new party members

In the first 6 months of the year, Nam Giang district promoted emulation to develop new party members to achieve achievements in celebration of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the district Party Committee (June 28, 1949 - June 28, 2024). Thereby, 81/75 party members were admitted, equal to 108% of the emulation target and 73.6% of the target set by the resolution.

In the field of economic development, the total crop area reached 2,319.1 hectares, estimated at 99.96% of the plan; of which the grain crop area was 848.4 hectares, reaching 99.22% of the plan and equal to 100.34% compared to the same period. The grain crop output reached more than 2,310 tons, an increase of 132.1 tons compared to the same period last year.

The locality supported 7 entities to register to build OCOP products in 2024. Successfully organized 2 night markets to promote the consumption of local products; licensed the establishment of 13 new business households and 1 forestry cooperative.

Up to now, the whole Nam Giang district has achieved 16 more new rural criteria, bringing the total number of achieved criteria to 161, an average of 14.63 criteria/commune.
