World Marathon Majors (WMM) has just voted on Eliud Kipchoge's five best performances on this prestigious running system, before he races in the Tokyo Marathon.
WMM is a series of six of the world's most prestigious marathons, including races in Boston, New York City, Chicago, London, Berlin, and Tokyo. This Sunday, March 3, the Tokyo Marathon will kick off the new WMM season. The next races will be in Boston on April 15, London on April 21, Berlin on September 29, Chicago on October 13, and New York City on November 3.
Kipchoge has competed in all six majors, winning four of them. The 39-year-old Kenyan has won four times in London (2015, 2016, 2018, 2019), four times in Berlin (2015, 2017, 2018, 2022, 2023), once in Chicago (2014) and once in Tokyo (2021). Returning to Tokyo this week, he is expected to win the title to build momentum for his goal of winning gold at the 2024 Olympics in Paris on August 10.
