On December 17, speaking on Rossiya channel (Russia), Mr. Vladimir Putin emphasized: "That is absolutely nonsense... Russia has no reason, geopolitical , economic or military interests to fight with NATO countries." According to this leader, President Biden's statement is an attempt to justify the "wrong policy" towards Russia.

Earlier this month, speaking before Congress about allocating a new aid package to Ukraine, US President Joe Biden said that Mr. Putin “will not stop” if he wins against Ukraine and will attack NATO countries.

In this case, the leader noted that the United States would have to intervene and then, “the American army would fight the Russian army”. According to him, the US absolutely does not want such a scenario.

At the same time, he called on the US Congress to consider approving a military aid package for both Ukraine and Israel. However, this aid package has continued to stall.
