TASS news agency reported that the Russian diplomat made the above statement in an interview with Rossiya 1 TV channel, stating : "Moscow's period of unilateral concessions has irrevocably ended."

According to Mr. Ryabkov, never in the future, "even in the best-case scenario in our relations with the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and the European Union (EU), there will not be any unilateral concessions from our side to the West."

If the US tries to impose on Russia something that is beneficial to Washington unilaterally, the only way out will be “no deal at all”, and “there will be no charity, gifts, concessions or any other gestures to appease the opponent”.

Noting that Moscow and the West had recently resolved "some issues", especially on humanitarian issues, referring to the exchange of 24 prisoners between Russia and the US and its allies, Mr. Ryabkov asserted that this "does not change the overall picture."

Besides, he "does not rule out the possibility that there will come a time when it will be necessary" to deploy nuclear-tipped missiles in response to similar actions by Western countries, but such a decision must be made by the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Armed Forces (VS RF) and senior military leaders.

Referring to the conversation between Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov and his US counterpart Lloyd Austin on July 12, Mr. Ryabkov said that Moscow had sent signals to "not only Washington but also to a number of other capitals."

A Russian diplomat has warned that the Doomsday Clock shows “less than two minutes” – the time it would take Russia to deploy nuclear-armed missiles in response to similar actions by Western countries.

This “does not mean that the clock is irreversible”, but Russia needs to approach what is happening with “full responsibility” while the military must “always be ready because scenarios can be very different”.
