Admiring the blooming yellow flowers beside the poetic stream in the heart of the world natural heritage

Nuoc Mooc Stream is hidden in the primeval forest of Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park, in Phuc Trach commune, Bo Trach district ( Quang Binh ). This stream is called Nuoc Mooc because in the local language, "mơoc" means "grow", and the water source of this stream literally "grows" from the ground. According to many geological researchers, this stream may originate from underground water sources, inside the vertical cliffs.

Upstream of Nuoc Mooc stream, there is a water hole of 80 - 90 m2 with many large rocks with strange shapes and patterns lying under the forest canopy. Downstream are rapids, reefs and waterfalls flowing all year round.

Around March, clusters of yellow Anh flowers bloom on both sides of Nuoc Mooc stream, creating a beautiful scene in the middle of Phong Nha - Ke Bang World Natural Heritage forest.

The Golden Orchid is a woody plant with clusters of bright red and yellow flowers with a strong fragrance, highly characteristic of the flora of the Phong Nha - Ke Bang area.
