(Dan Tri) - Authorities said Ngan 98 is the operator of ZuBu Trading and Service Company Limited. The business was established in 2021, with a charter capital of 3 billion VND.

As Dan Tri reported, the Ho Chi Minh City Police Investigation Agency ( Economic Police Department) has just issued a decision to prosecute a criminal case, prosecute the accused and issue an order to temporarily detain Vo Thi Ngoc Ngan (Ngan 98) for the crime of Producing and trading in counterfeit food products, according to Article 193 of the Penal Code.

According to the police, Ngan 98 established ZuBu Trading and Service Company Limited and the business household ZuBu Shop, but let others act as directors, including her biological mother. In reality, all operations, finances, and business activities were directly directed and benefited by Ngan 98.

According to the National Business Information Portal, ZuBu Trading and Service Company Limited was established in May 2021. Its initial headquarters is at 22 Vo Thi Yen (An Nhon town, Binh Dinh). Its main business is food wholesale. Ms. Tran Thi Thanh (born in 1972) holds the position of Director and Legal Representative. The initial charter capital of the enterprise is 200 million VND.

By November 2021, the company changed its head office address to 154 Pham Van Chieu (Thong Tay Hoi Ward, Ho Chi Minh City). By September 2022, the company increased its capital to 3 billion VND, the proportion of shareholders contributing capital was not disclosed.

As of October 17, 2024, the position of Director and Legal Representative of the enterprise will be transferred to Mr. Pham Xuan Oai (born in 1992). The enterprise owner is still Ms. Tran Thi Thanh.

However, only 6 days later, the company announced a change of ownership, transferring to Mr. Le Trong Khanh (born in 1994). One month later, the position of Director and Legal Representative of the company was transferred to Ms. Tran Thi Thanh.

By September this year, after the scandal of the weight loss product advertised by Ngan 98 suspected of containing banned substances, the company continued to change its legal representative. Accordingly, Ms. Tran Thi Ngoc Bich (born in 1986) holds the position of Director and Legal Representative of the enterprise. However, the owner is still Ms. Tran Thi Thanh.

According to research, on the packaging of weight loss products advertised by Ngan 98, it is stated that "the trader responsible for product quality and distribution is Zubu Trading and Service Company Limited. Manufactured at a GMP-standard factory located in Dan Phuong Industrial Park ( Hanoi City).

Previously, in May, social media went viral with a video and a series of posts related to the dispute between DJ Ngan 98 and a seller named Ngan Collagen. Both sides sell weight loss products. On livestream (live broadcast), they openly criticized and attacked each other about the quality of the goods.

On the evening of May 21, on her TikTok channel with more than 900,000 followers and her Facebook page with more than 2.2 million followers, Ngan 98 spoke up about the origin of the products she advertised and represented. She affirmed that the products were all clearly tested and guaranteed quality for consumers. "Ngan herself also cross-tested the products," she said.
