Change of fire drill time at Saigon River tunnel

The Fire Prevention, Fighting, Rescue and Search and Rescue Police Department (PCCC-CNCH), PC07, Ho Chi Minh City Police Department said that it has adjusted the schedule for practicing fire fighting and rescue plans at the Saigon River Tunnel, Mai Chi Tho Street, An Khanh Ward, Ho Chi Minh City.

According to the previous plan, practice time was from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. from September 23 to 24; officially at 2:30 p.m. on September 26.

However, in order to concentrate forces and means to participate in protecting events and ensuring regular work, PC07 Department announced a change in the time of practicing fire fighting and rescue plans at the Saigon River tunnel.

According to the new plan, the practice time will take place on September 25 and 26 (Thursday and Friday), from 10:00 p.m. to 11:45 p.m. The official practice time will be at 9:00 a.m. on September 28 (Sunday).

Alternative route for the rehearsal event:

Direction from Saigon ward to An Khanh ward: Vo Van Kiet street → Vo Van Kiet parallel road → Vo Van Kiet street → Ton Duc Thang street → Ba Son bridge → R12 street → To Huu street → Mai Chi Tho street.

Direction from An Khanh ward to Saigon ward: Mai Chi Tho street → To Huu street → R12 → Ba Son bridge → Le Duan street → Nam Ky Khoi Nghia street → Vo Van Kiet street.

PC07 recommends that people proactively choose appropriate routes to avoid traffic jams during the drill.
