Leaders of the Department of Transport inspected the situation of a number of traffic projects in Chiem Hoa district.

In recent times, with the attention of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, Provincial People's Committee, and the close coordination of departments, branches, sectors, and People's Committees of districts and cities in the process of implementing the province's breakthrough goals in developing synchronous and modern transport infrastructure, dynamic urban areas, and information technology infrastructure, the province's transport infrastructure system is being invested in and constructed synchronously. Many key, important, large-scale routes have been and are being invested in and constructed. Among them, there are projects to build Tuyen Quang - Phu Tho expressway connecting with Noi Bai - Lao Cai expressway completed and put into operation in December 2023; Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang expressway (Phase 1); Ho Chi Minh road section Cho Chu (Thai Nguyen) - Trung Son intersection (Yen Son); Na Hang - Ba Be (Bac Kan) connecting road; DT188 road from Chiem Hoa district to Lam Binh district; National Highway 2C from Chiem Hoa district to Na Hang district; investment in building bridges and bypasses to Son Duong town; My Lam mineral spring tourist area project to the intersection of National Highway 2D connecting with Tuyen Quang - Phu Tho expressway; project to renovate and upgrade Tan Yen - Thai Son - Thai Hoa - Duc Ninh (Ham Yen) road; development axis road from Tuyen Quang city to Yen Son district; construction of Bach Xa bridge (Ham Yen) across Lo river, Xuan Van bridge (Yen Son) across Gam river and Trang 2 bridge (Son Duong) across Pho Day river; preparation for investment in building roads from Tuyen Quang city to My Lam mineral spring and roads from Son Duong town to Tan Trao; renovation and upgrading of National Highways, provincial roads, district roads and important connecting axis roads; construction of rural roads and bridges on rural roads...

Thereby, aiming at the basic goal of completing the transport infrastructure system in the province, ensuring synchronization, intra-regional and inter-regional connectivity within the province, connecting highways, economic zones of the province with neighboring provinces and the national transport system. Up to now, the transport infrastructure of the province is gradually changing from "smooth, smooth" to "Convenient, safe and fast connection", thereby removing "bottlenecks" in transport, opening up new opportunities for the socio-economic development of the province, improving investment efficiency, serving local freight and passenger transport, serving production well, promoting regional economic development, creating a good premise to attract investment.

DT 188 route from Vinh Loc town (Chiem Hoa) to Lam Binh district was invested and built by the Department of Transport, creating conditions for people to develop socio-economy.

Along with new construction, the repair and upgrade of the transport sector has also received special attention. Since the beginning of the term, the road surface of 327.8 km/481 km of national highways has been repaired and expanded to ensure technical standards; 130 km/449.38 km of provincial roads and district roads, urban roads, etc. have been repaired and renovated to meet the needs of inter-provincial and intra-provincial transportation, ensuring convenience and safety. The goal of asphalting and concreted 100% of roads from the district center to the commune center will be completed; the goal of 100% of villages and hamlets in the province having car roads to the center will be completed by 2025; 3,158.43/3,953.8 km of rural concrete roads have been concreted, reaching a rate of 80%; The concreted inner-field roads are 1,075.23/1,651.84 km, reaching 65%; 161/200 bridges on rural roads have been invested in construction, reaching 80.5% of the target, the remaining 39 bridges will be invested in 2025 to ensure the completion of the investment target of 200 bridges on rural roads in the period of 2021 - 2025.

A new spring has come, the roads and bridges connecting the countryside bring a new life of warmth and fullness. That is the motivation for the provincial Department of Transport to continue to make efforts to implement key traffic projects, along with roads and bridges in all the remote, isolated and economically disadvantaged areas of the province, contributing to building Tuyen Quang province to develop quite well, comprehensively and sustainably in the Northern mountainous region.
