According to reports, up to now, floods and landslides in Tuyen Quang province have caused serious damage to people and property. Specifically: Regarding people, 4 people are missing due to a landslide that occurred at 6:30 a.m. on September 30, 2025 in Ma Lau A village, Lung Cu commune. Regarding housing, a total of 1,815 houses were affected; of which, 6 houses were completely damaged (over 90%), 1,350 houses had to be urgently evacuated and 90 houses were isolated. In addition, many houses were damaged to varying degrees and 116 houses were flooded.

Regarding education and health, 20 schools were affected and 1 general clinic had its roof blown off. 5 cultural houses were also damaged. Regarding agriculture and forestry, the area of ​​rice, corn, vegetables and other crops was flooded, affecting up to 1,190 hectares. In addition, 1.2 hectares of forest were affected and 2.3 tons of food were washed away and damaged. Livestock and aquaculture were also affected, 15.74 hectares of ponds were overflowed and 44 cages and rafts for aquaculture were affected.

Regarding traffic, many roads were flooded and landslides caused traffic jams, including 2 locations on national highways and 66 locations on local roads. The total volume of landslides is estimated at more than 7,000 m³, along with damage to 2 bridges and 1 culvert...

Discussing at the meeting, delegates focused on assessing the complicated and dangerous developments of floods in the province; at the same time, discussing plans and solutions to prevent and overcome the consequences of floods, with the motto "4 on-site" and sanitation and environmental work after floods; mobilizing forces to respond to emergencies; rescue work; plans to support and evacuate people, especially in isolated areas; plans to ensure traffic and communication. Leaders of departments and branches also made forecasts of the next developments of rain, floods and areas at high risk of being affected in order to have timely response solutions...

Concluding the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary Hau A Lenh emphasized: Given the complicated developments of floods, the urgent requirement is that the entire political system, all levels, sectors, businesses and people must raise their proactive spirit, join hands and unite to minimize damage to people and property. In all situations, the number one priority is to save people. He requested that functional sectors assign specific tasks to each organization and individual, avoiding overlapping and lack of responsibility in direction and management.

The Provincial Party Secretary emphasized the need to absolutely not lose contact with people in isolated areas; at the same time, urgently provide food and essential necessities, proactively propagate, mobilize and organize the evacuation of people from areas at high risk of landslides and flash floods to safe places. It is necessary to ensure the safety of public works, state agencies and people's houses.

The Provincial Party Secretary assigned the Provincial Military Command to preside over the establishment of a forward command post, focusing on providing essential supplies to isolated areas, especially the old Ha Giang city and Dong Van commune. At the same time, coordinate with relevant units to establish a main command post in the center of Tuyen Quang province, fully prepare plans to respond to floods and overcome the consequences of natural disasters.

Communes, wards and towns need to establish on-site command posts, increase warning propaganda, closely monitor weather conditions, proactively grasp information, and review households living in dangerous areas to have timely evacuation plans, ensuring absolute safety for people.

He also proposed assigning comrades in the Provincial Party Standing Committee to directly direct the work of preventing, combating and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters in key areas, ensuring close monitoring of the actual situation and timely and effective direction.

The Provincial Party Secretary requested the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission to direct and orient central and local press agencies to regularly, continuously and accurately report on damage and natural disaster prevention and control work in the province; at the same time, refute false information about the flood situation in the province, causing panic among the people.
