Nghe An: Highlights on March 10

* Currently, the People's Committee of Nghe An province is collecting opinions to submit to the Provincial People's Council for consideration and promulgation of a special mechanism on regulating land use fee revenue from projects that collect land use fees for the provincial budget to create capital for compensation and site clearance for the Vinh International Airport project and invest in building an access bridge connecting National Highway 7C with Cua Lo Deepwater Port.

* On the morning of March 10, Nam Cat commune, Nam Dan district held a ceremony to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the commune's establishment (1954-2024) and announce the Decision to recognize the commune as meeting the model new rural standards; it is one of the first 6 communes in Nghe An province to meet the model new rural standards.

* The People's Committee of Nghe An province has just issued Official Dispatch No. 153/CTr-UBND on the program to promote investment, trade and tourism in Nghe An province in 2024. The People's Committee of the province requires that investment, trade and tourism promotion activities must be organized safely, effectively, with focus and key points in diverse and flexible forms.

* To strengthen the work of clearing violations and preventing re-encroachment of road and railway traffic safety corridors in the province to achieve the goals set for 2024 with the theme: "Focusing on preventing re-encroachment and strengthening traffic safety management", the Provincial People's Committee requests provincial, district and commune-level departments and branches to strengthen measures, strictly implement, prevent re-encroachment and strengthen management of traffic safety corridors.
