* This month before Tet, the molasses cooking business in Tan Huong commune, Tan Ky district becomes more bustling. Molasses furnaces are burning day and night to produce batches of smooth, sweet molasses to serve diners near and far.

* Between the stilt houses in the Thai village of Ky Son district, for decades, wild tamarind trees have grown. Over time, the tamarind forest has been preserved and developed, and is currently in its fruit-laden season, creating a rare sense of peace.
