10-year-old model transforms into young girls from different regions

(Dan Tri) - The photo series "A Round of Vietnam" by child model Ruby Tam Nhi and designer Nguyen Minh Cong, using fashion to honor the identity and unique beauty of each region, received many compliments.

Ruby Tam Nhi was born in 2015 and has been studying dance since she was 6 years old. In the photo series titled “A Round of Vietnam”, she skillfully portrays 5 different images of Vietnamese girls from different regions, with costumes designed by designer Nguyen Minh Cong.

From the elegance and charm of the Northern Ao Tu Than to the rusticity of the Northwest muse; the gentleness and nobility of the Hue royal Nhat Binh Ao Dai or the freedom of the Central Highlands girl, the simplicity of the Southern Ao Ba Ba is portrayed by Ruby Tam Nhi through each photo.

Designer Nguyen Minh Cong has cleverly combined traditional elements with modern inspiration, creating a bridge so that traditional cultural values ​​can be closer to the younger generation, especially children.

At the beginning of the photo series, Ruby Tam Nhi transforms into a gentle Northern girl in a traditional Vietnamese dress, combined with a conical hat. The designer used green areca nuts to make a bouquet, both reminiscent of the traditional betel and areca nut custom and creating a unique highlight for the overall look.

Stepping into the Northwest region, Ruby Tam Nhi wears a colorful national costume, stylized with a flared skirt but still retaining the characteristics of traditional brocade patterns.

With Nhat Binh's outfit, designer Nguyen Minh Cong chose pastel purple tones combined with delicate butterfly embellishments, creating a luxurious aura, creating overall harmony.

Child model Tam Nhi also had the opportunity to transform into a Central Highlands girl with a multi-layered flared skirt design, combined with bright colors, creating a blend of traditional and modern looks.

Finally, the image of a Southern girl in a familiar Ao Ba Ba, combined with trendy fringe details by the designer, creates a modern look while still maintaining a rustic, close spirit.

Not only a photo model, Ruby Tam Nhi also brings life to each design through her signature dances.

Sharing the reason for making the photo series titled “A Round of Vietnam”, designer Nguyen Minh Cong said he and child model Tam Nhi wanted to use fashion as a “language” to spread love for the homeland, arousing pride in national identity, especially among the young generation.

The designer shared: “I want to bring traditional costumes closer to children so that they can be proud of their origins, and so that fashion is not only about external beauty but also a story about history and values ​​that need to be preserved.”
