Our Moon Exhibition in Hanoi
Held at Kim Ngan communal house (No. 42, Hang Bac Street, Hoan Kiem Ward, Hanoi), the exhibition and discussion with the theme "Our Moon" recreated the traditional Mid-Autumn Festival atmosphere in the Northern region and applied heritage in contemporary life.
"Our Moon" is a project to recreate ancient Mid-Autumn Festival toys by art researcher Kevin Vuong from 2020 to present. In the exhibition, visitors can admire lion heads, papier-mâché masks, lanterns, paper doctors, dough animals, traditional Mid-Autumn Festival trays...
In particular, the exhibition "Our Moon" uses the image of the Northern lion's head as a highlight, distinguishing it from the Southern lion's head which is influenced by Chinese culture. The Northern lion's head has carp eyebrows, symbolizing the rice civilization.
The exhibition at Kim Ngan communal house lasts from September 27 to October 6.

Mid-Autumn Festival 2025 at the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology
On October 4 and 5, the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology will organize the 2025 Mid-Autumn Festival program with the theme "Fun with children".
Here, young visitors have the opportunity to meet folk artists in the traditional Mid-Autumn Festival space through familiar toys such as: lanterns, star lanterns, paper doctors, to he, papier-mâché masks, clay figurines, dough animals... and watch lion dances, lantern processions, and folk water puppetry of Dong Ngu puppet troupe ( Bac Ninh ).

In addition, there are also STEM hands-on experiences to explore science, through making lanterns, ships, and digital technology experiences such as virtual reality (VR), racing games to find Mid-Autumn treasures through artifacts in the Museum, and fun exploring Mid-Autumn Festival dishes.
In addition, the "Autumn Colors" installation art space was inaugurated on October 4, 2025 and will last until November 4, 2025. The space displays traditional toys of the elderly artisans who have been associated with the Museum for many years; restored and creative toys of some young people passionate about handicrafts.

From October 3 to 6 (12-15 of the 8th lunar month), Hoi An ancient town (Da Nang) will organize the Mid-Autumn Festival At Ty - 2025 with many art programs, parades and experiential spaces, bringing to locals and visitors a brilliant festival season, rich in cultural identity.
The highlight of the program is the “Full Moon Festival Night” at 7 p.m. on October 4 at Hoi An Park with Lion - Lion - Dragon performances and Mid-Autumn Festival-themed art. Fire-Picking Horse Exhibition
The Mid-Autumn Festival lantern exhibition with the theme "Heavenly Horse Picking Up Fire" is welcoming visitors to Son Tra Communal House (No. 113, Nguyen Phi Khanh Street, Tan Dinh Ward, Ho Chi Minh City).
The ancient communal house space is filled with colorful lanterns evoking the atmosphere of traditional Mid-Autumn Festivals with images of snakehead fish, dragons, fire-toting horses, and grasshoppers… familiar in ancient folklore.
The exhibition "Fire-picking horse" displays more than 40 models of ancient lanterns restored by the group of young people Khoi Dang Tac Khi (mainly students majoring in architecture and fine arts).
The event is open to the public until October 12.

Traditional lantern exhibition
The exhibition displays dozens of traditional lanterns in a variety of colors at Parc Mall (Chanh Hung ward, Ho Chi Minh City).
The exhibition space is divided into many themes associated with the ancient Mid-Autumn Festival such as Thuy - following the tide (cancer lantern, carp transforming into a dragon), Thao - on the green fields (praying mantis lantern, butterfly...), Thien - under the moonlight (images of the full moon, dragon, carp...).
The most impressive thing in the exhibition is the giant dragon lantern, 18m long, arranged in a unique winding shape.
The exhibition continues to welcome guests to check-in until October 8.
