Mid-Autumn Festival is the most anticipated festival for children, but it is also a time for families to gather and bond after busy days. This year, the Mid-Autumn Festival falls on Monday, October 6, 2025 (ie August 15 of the lunar calendar), right at the beginning of the week. Therefore, many families in the capital can choose to have fun early on the two previous weekends (October 4 and October 5), when the festive atmosphere is bustling throughout the streets, squares, historical sites and shopping centers.
