Sao Bien Folk Music and Dance Theater organizes the death anniversary of the Stage's founder

On the evening of October 3, Sao Bien Folk Music and Dance Theater organized a meeting of generations of artists to celebrate the 16th Vietnam Theater Day and the 2025 Theater Founder's death anniversary.

Attending the event were comrades Dao Tan Loc, former member of the Party Central Committee, former Secretary of Phu Yen Provincial Party Committee; Pham Van Bay, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Tran Hong Tien, Provincial Party Committee member, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Nguyen Thanh Tuan, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; and many generations of artists of the theater.

Here, the delegates, artists and singers reviewed the traditions of the Vietnamese Theatre industry. After the ancestor worship ceremony, the artists and delegates lit incense to commemorate their ancestors and watched the artists and singers perform special musical performances.

This is not just a normal death anniversary but also has many profound meanings: showing gratitude to the profession's ancestors, connecting artists, preserving and promoting cultural traditions.

According to Mr. Huynh Tu Nhan, Deputy Director in charge of the theater, this is not only an occasion to honor the traditional values ​​of the theater arts but also a motivation to encourage artists to create many meaningful works, contributing to improving the spiritual life of the people, especially in remote areas. At the same time, this day also calls for the community's cooperation in preserving and developing Vietnamese theater imbued with national identity.
