More than 4.1 billion VND to support the Cuban people, the Provincial Red Cross

On October 9, the Provincial Red Cross organized a donation ceremony to support the Cuban people (phase 1).

Attending the program were Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society Vu Thanh Luu; representatives of leaders of departments and units of the Central Committee; Vice President in charge of the Provincial Red Cross Society Nguyen Huu Suu; leaders of departments and civil servants of the Provincial Red Cross Society.

At the program, the Dak Lak Provincial Red Cross presented a symbolic plaque with more than 4.1 billion VND (as of October 8) to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross to support the Cuban people.

It is known that as of October 9, the whole province had nearly 3,150 organizations and individuals participating in supporting the Cuban people with a total amount of more than 4.3 billion VND. Typical examples include: officials and people of Tuy Hoa ward (242.862 million VND); officials and people of Cu M'Gar commune (204.1 million VND); Petrolimex Dak Lak One Member Co., Ltd. (200 million VND); Dak Lak Electricity Company (166.8 million VND); officials and people of Quang Phu commune (144.5 million VND)...

The leader of the Provincial Red Cross Society presented a symbolic plaque of the amount of money donated to the Cuban people to the leader of the Central Vietnam Red Cross Society.

Speaking at the program, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society Vu Thanh Luu highly appreciated the achievements of the Dak Lak Provincial Red Cross Society in implementing the Campaign Program; at the same time, he acknowledged and thanked the hearts of the cadres and people of Dak Lak sent to the Cuban people. With practical and timely actions, organizations and individuals have shown the spirit of solidarity and sharing with the desire to help, send affection and give strength to the Cuban people to overcome difficulties, contributing to the special solidarity and friendship between Vietnam and Cuba to shine forever.
