"Uncle Ho wrote the Declaration of Independence"; " Ho Chi Minh - a man and a nation", "Following His Footsteps"... are publications released by Kim Dong Publishing House on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2. Notably, this is the first time Kim Dong Publishing House has released a color illustrated edition of the historical book written in verse "Our Country's History" written by Uncle Ho in the six-eight verse form.
In the series of publications commemorating the nation's important events, Kim Dong Publishing House also introduced books about portraits of leaders and revolutionary predecessors such as: "Mechanic Ton Duc Thang", "Tran Phu", "Ngo Gia Tu", "Nguyen Duc Canh", "Nguyen Thi Minh Khai - the song of the betel garden", "Nguyen Huu Tien - the painter of the national flag", "To Hieu peach tree" and the work "Portraits of the first 15 Ministers of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, August 1945".
Many publications were reprinted on this occasion to help readers learn about the nation's history and the two long resistance wars such as "A Brief History of Vietnam in Pictures", "The Thousand-Year Country", "The Vietnam Propaganda Liberation Army", "General Vo Nguyen Giap in His Youth", "Resistance Literature and Art through the Lens of Tran Van Luu", "Children in Wartime"... In addition, there is also the publication "One House - Atlas of 54 Vietnamese Ethnic Groups" with hundreds of paintings praising the beauty of the homeland and the spirit of national solidarity.
