This is the debut children's novel by writer Daryl Kho, illustrated by artist SillyJillie, translated by Kieu Ngan Ha, published by Kim Dong Publishing House. The book revolves around a little girl named Alexis and her magical journey to find the ingredients to make "Memory Glue" to restore her grandfather's broken memories. Accompanying Alexis are her resilient grandmother and a special mountain elf. They must cross a mysterious land, overcome dangerous challenges, and confront magical creatures in a short time.

Kim Dong Publishing House cooperated with the Reading with Children Club to launch the children's novel "Land of Fog - The Quest for Memory Glue".

The novel is not only attractive because of its fantasy elements but also because of its humanistic message: Family affection is the most magical miracle, love can support people to overcome illness, forgetfulness, and even separation. The stories told, the pages of books read together… become the “glue” that binds grandparents – parents – children.

At the event, there was an exchange about the book with the theme: "Land of Fog - The Quest for Memory Glue: Family is a Miracle". The program's guests included: Dr. Nguyen Thuy Anh - poet, educator , Head of the Reading with Children Club; Dr. La Linh Nga - Director of the Center for Research and Application of Psychology - Education; translator Kieu Ngan Ha - who translated the work into Vietnamese.

Dr. Nguyen Thuy Anh shared: “The book was released on the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival, so it is even more meaningful. Reading the book, each person will pay more attention to each member of the family: a familiar saying, a small habit, a favorite dish, an attached object... From there, family members will be more connected to each other. If we can't remember, let's start observing from today."

The event gives readers a space to exchange and talk about the value of memories and the magical power of family love, spreading the message: Even if memories are broken, love and family connection will always be the miracle that heals everything.
