Nguyen Thi Huyen recalled her memories of 21 years ago when she competed in Miss Vietnam. According to her, the contestants at that time were very simple and did not know how to wear makeup, unlike the professional, youthful and modern Gen Z contestants. As a judge in the preliminary round, she hoped to find worthy contestants to enter the national final round.

Nguyen Thi Huyen recalls the time she entered the international beauty arena: “When I participated in the world beauty arena, I always thought I would win even though I didn’t have a beautiful costume like the other contestants, but I had the enthusiastic support of the audience at home. Therefore, I advise the contestants who are representing their hometown, their school, to remember that they are representing that group to stay calm and confidently shine.”

The Organizing Committee said that in the Northern preliminary round, there were more contestants than in the Southern region, and their beauty was also very impressive.

Many candidates are over 1.7m tall, some are even 1.8m tall. The candidates' bodies are considered well-proportioned.

The preliminary round also attracted a large number of candidates who were good at foreign languages ​​to show themselves. In front of the camera, many girls confidently showed off their English, Chinese, and French skills. One was a lecturer with an IELTS score of 8.0.

The contestants also confidently showed off their talents when they came to the preliminary round. They showed off their dancing and singing skills, and invested in professional performance props.

The Organizing Committee has selected 26 contestants to participate in the final round.
