Minh Hung Ward organized visits and gave gifts to the elderly in the area.

(CTT-Dong Nai) - On the occasion of the International Day of Older Persons (October 1), on October 1, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Minh Hung ward organized two working delegations to visit and give gifts to the elderly in the area.

Working delegation No. 1 led by Mr. Le Tien Hieu - Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council visited and wished longevity to Mr. Ngo Van Sen, 90 years old, residing in Quarter 3A.

Delegation 1, led by Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council Le Tien Hieu, visited 7 elderly people aged 90 and over 100 years old in Wards 3A, 2, 3B, and 12. Delegation 2, led by Vice Chairman of the Ward People's Committee Nguyen Van Dien, visited 6 elderly people aged 90 and over 100 years old in Wards 11, 9, Minh Long 7, Minh Long 1, and Minh Long 2.
At each location, the delegation presented longevity certificates, gifts from the Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee and gifts from the ward People's Committee to the elderly. The ward leaders also kindly inquired about their health and expressed their deep gratitude for their contributions to the local development.
This meaningful activity not only shows concern and care for the material and spiritual life of the elderly, but also affirms the fine tradition of "respecting the elderly and valuing longevity" of the nation.
