“Fortunately born in peacetime, I still want to wear the green uniform of a soldier to contribute to building and protecting the Fatherland. That ideal has urged me to volunteer to join the army,” the female soldier shared.
Far from family and friends and training in a strict disciplined environment, the young girl did not consider it a difficulty of military life. The days of training on the sunny and windy training ground, the hours of studying and training to the exact second became challenges, forging the will and courage of the young girl.
“Adapting to military discipline and style; learning how to live collectively, knowing how to share, and fighting side by side with teammates made me realize that I am more mature every day,” Thu Quynh said.
Honored to be in the Female Medical Officers' group twice to march at two major national celebrations, Thu Quynh still could not hide her emotion and pride: "My emotions are still as exciting as the first time I received the mission. This is both my happiness and my great responsibility."

The training and practice process becomes an unforgettable memory in the military life of any soldier participating in the parades. At the 80th Anniversary of National Day, September 2, the formation was larger, so lining up, keeping distance, and walking in unison among hundreds of soldiers became the first difficult challenge after the first days of receiving the mission.
“The intense training under the scorching heat on the training ground made everyone sweat profusely. Those hours trained us to be patient and have a high team spirit, together completing the assigned tasks well,” the female soldier proudly recounted.

Among the countless beautiful memories of the young female soldier, there is one memory that makes Thu Quynh emotional when remembering.
At the end of the training session at Mieu Mon (Hanoi), when the groups had returned to their assembly location, it suddenly rained heavily.
"In that rain, students of all grades still clapped their hands and sang loudly, expressing the spirit of 'Heavy rain is small rain, small rain is no rain', determined to overcome all difficulties and challenges," Thu Quynh recounted the story.

The cheers and applause from the people made the female soldier and her teammates even happier and more honored: "In that moment, all the fatigue and hardships of our training seemed to disappear, leaving only pride in being soldiers of the Vietnam People's Army."
Sharing with Dan Tri reporter , although a bit nervous before the ceremony, parade, and march to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day, Thu Quynh and her teammates are still determined to complete the task well: "We are looking forward to confidently walking through Ba Dinh Square in front of the whole people and international friends."
