A group of students from Phan Thiet University connected with a group of students from the University of Education to discuss human love online.
Student A. Pedagogical University:
- Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh is a famous writer, poet, researcher, and social activist at home and abroad. He has given many good lectures that touch people's hearts about love from the heart. He often repeats the teachings of the saints, that nature created humans - people to love each other. Love creates strength and holiness for humans to overcome nature, overcome evil within themselves and outside themselves!
Student B. Pedagogical University continued:
- Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh not only cited Buddhism but also quoted Ho Chi Minh , considering him as a "Saint" of love. Ho Chi Minh is the embodiment of the struggle and sacrifice for love, the love that transforms society, both fighting and striving for all good, justice and charity.
Student C of Pedagogical University:
- Teachers who are devoted to their beloved students, doctors who treat patients as Uncle Ho taught, "A good doctor is like a mother", as well as many other professions are always imbued with love.
Student A. Phan Thiet University:
- During the week, there were some unpleasant stories happening here and there about teachers' lack of love for their students. A 12th grade female student at Dan Phuc school, Hanoi , just because she made a birthday cake for her class in the wrong place as the teacher had instructed, and not according to the cake design she had requested, a big incident happened. The female student knelt in front of the class and begged the teacher to forgive her, then fainted, and the teacher dragged her into the classroom with words that were very unpleasant to the ears. Birthdays are for fun, for warmth and love, but when they turn out like this, what is love?
Student A. continued the story:
- Not yet, there is the story of an English teacher who rudely scolded and used foul words on a male student in front of the class, insulting his dignity, without any love left. A fourth grader was beaten by his teacher until his back was red and bruised because he did not complete the homework she gave him. An oncologist rudely seduced and made love to the beautiful daughter of a cancer patient, the girl herself denounced him when she was pushed to the limit. So what is left of "A good doctor is like a loving mother"?
The leader of the Pedagogical University student group opened his smartphone to read the messages between a kindergarten teacher and a female parent – the mother of a child Minh Tam who was not yet 5 years old. On one side was a kindergarten teacher sending rude, empty messages with unreasonable, unloving comments about the child. On the other side was the parent, the child’s mother, with polite, gentle words. Every school day, the teacher pinched the child’s cheeks and buttocks for no reason. In the end, the child’s mother had to meet with the principal to ask for the child to leave school and change classes.
Phan Thiet University Student Group Leader:
- The stories we just mentioned about the "betrayal" of love, although only a few, are no longer isolated cases of the lack of standards of those who should be exemplary in behavior, truly standards of love. Reputation built up over a lifetime, suddenly disappears just because of personal desires, just because of lack of control, letting the evil instinct in people come out.
The Vietnamese people are steadfast, indomitable, heroic, and have unparalleled strength, which is the crystallization of the spirit of solidarity and love: "Many layers of silk cover the mirror/ People in the same country must love one another."
The education and training sector, the medical sector (and many other sectors) always attach importance to culture and standards in all behaviors. Many things cover the mirror... Stories of teachers being violent and insulting students, doctors betraying patients throughout the country have been corrected, are being corrected, so that evil has no place to hide, goodness and beauty are always spread. Standards in behavior are "Culture lights the way for the nation to go" (Ho Chi Minh), a lesson for a lifetime, a lesson to remember in a very beautiful life with many storms...
