(QNgTV)- Circular 14/2025 of the Ministry of Construction regulating driver training; testing and granting certificates of training in road traffic law knowledge has officially taken effect.

Notably, many new adjustments are aimed at improving quality while creating convenience for students and centers.

According to Circular 14, students can submit their application online as well as in person, which is convenient for people who live far away. For the theoretical part of the driving license test, students only need to be present in person for the first session. The following sessions can be studied online and monitored via software to be proactive about time and location, reducing travel time.

The new regulation also does not require students to learn to drive in the cabin, but can flexibly choose to practice driving on the road to practice practical skills. For exams and tests, instead of graduation exams as before, Circular 14 stipulates final exams for each subject in theory or practice. Therefore, centers can choose to test each part separately or integratedly, as long as they ensure the regulations. Students will have the convenience of choosing the appropriate form of study and test.
