Many places flew flags at half-mast before the National Funeral Day of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong

TPO - Before the day of the National Funeral, many agencies, organizations, residential areas, and commercial centers in Hanoi flew flags at half-mast to commemorate General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.

According to the announcement from the Funeral Committee of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, the funeral of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong will be held according to the National Mourning protocol, taking place on July 25 and 26. During the two days of National Mourning, agencies, offices, and public places will fly flags at half-mast, and no public entertainment activities will be organized.

Recorded in Hanoi on July 21, although the State funeral has not yet taken place, many agencies, organizations, residential areas, businesses... have flown flags at half-mast to express gratitude and remember General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.

The national flag no longer flies and is hung with a black ribbon in front of the 37 Hung Vuong Conference Center - a public service unit under the Government Office .

At the National History Museum (No. 1 Trang Tien Street, Phan Chu Trinh Ward, Hoan Kiem District), flags were flown at half-mast to commemorate the respected General Secretary.

Hang Bai Ward Police (49 Hang Bai) hung flags at half-mast in front of the entrance to the headquarters.

The shopping mall located at the intersection of Hang Bai - Trang Tien - Hang Khay - Dinh Tien Hoang (Hoan Kiem district) broadcast a documentary about General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on a big screen for people to watch.

At the headquarters of the Vietnam Construction Trade Union (Hoan Kiem district), the flag was also flown at half-mast.

House 48 Hang Ngang Street, where President Ho Chi Minh wrote the Declaration of Independence, giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, has a flag flying at half-mast on the third floor of the house.

Teachers and students of Mai Dich Secondary School (Cau Giay District) flew flags at half-mast to pay their respects to General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.
