Based on the actual situation, Xuan Phuong High School also decided to continue organizing online teaching for all students on October 8.

At Tay Mo Secondary School, after consulting with parents in class groups, the school announced that, in accordance with the wishes of the majority of parents and teachers, the school decided to continue online learning for all students. Many students of the school live in areas that are deeply flooded, making travel difficult and potentially dangerous.

Dong Nhan Primary School announced that today, October 8, teaching and boarding will be held as usual. However, the school also reminded parents to consider the weather and actual living conditions of their place to proactively decide whether or not to send their children to school to ensure safety.
Nguyen Sieu Primary School also announced that on October 8, students will return to boarding school.
However, the school notes that to ensure the safety of students and the convenience of parents, families can choose the most suitable option based on the rainy and flooded conditions in their living area. In case students cannot come to school, parents should inform the homeroom teacher to receive support with learning materials and make up plans for the students.
Previously, on October 6, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training requested school principals and heads of units to base on actual weather conditions in the area, physical facilities and traffic safety conditions to proactively decide on appropriate teaching and learning methods (in-person, online or adjusted timetables); ensuring absolute safety for students, staff, teachers and employees.
The Hanoi Department of Education and Training also requires schools to closely monitor weather developments; review and clear drainage systems, schoolyards, cafeterias, and boarding areas. At the same time, arrange to be on duty, update and promptly report on rain and flooding situations, and impacts on teaching and learning activities (if any) to the Department for synthesis and handling according to regulations.
