In the third quarter of 2025, the Ministry of National Defense's military science, technology and technology work will be deployed synchronously, closely following the resolutions and conclusions of the Party, the Central Military Commission, the strategies and plans of the Government and the Ministry of National Defense on science, technology, environment and innovation in the Army; effectively serving the tasks of training, combat readiness, ensuring technical and modernization of the Army. Topics and projects will be accelerated, many research and testing products will be successful and effectively applied, contributing to improving the autonomy of defense technology.

Scientific research management activities are carried out strictly and systematically, in accordance with strategic orientations and requirements for building the Army. Agencies and units proactively adjust plans, manage progress and quality of projects, focusing on basic technologies, core technologies, and new technologies that directly serve military and defense tasks. Acceptance and evaluation work is carried out seriously, linking research, production and application.

Speaking at the conference, Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh acknowledged and commended the efforts of agencies and units in innovation, creativity, proactive research, and application of scientific and technological advances to serve military and defense tasks.

The Deputy Minister of National Defense requested that in the coming time, the entire army needs to continue to thoroughly grasp the resolutions and directives of the Party, the State and the Central Military Commission on the development of science, technology and defense industry; focus on implementing key research programs and projects; promote technology transfer, apply research results to production, repair and ensure technical equipment and weapons.

Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh requested agencies and units to focus on reviewing all science and technology tasks in 2025, promptly advising and proposing to remove difficulties and obstacles to ensure progress, quality and efficiency. Speed up the deployment, completion and exploitation of the military science database, ensuring synchronization, connection, serving the direction, operation and application work in the entire army. Closely coordinate with ministries and functional branches in building and completing the system of legal documents on the field of science and technology, creating a unified and synchronous legal corridor.
