After 15 years of establishment (October 1, 2010 - October 1, 2025), Lam Dong Aluminum Company - TKV has overcome many challenges and difficulties to become the leading enterprise in the country in the bauxite mining industry, producing alumina products for export and moving towards electrolysis of aluminum metal.

The 15-year journey of Lam Dong Aluminum Company is not just a journey of production and business to bring profits. Lam Dong Bauxite - Aluminum Complex has a designed capacity of 650,000 tons of aluminum/year, with a total investment of 15,414 billion VND, and was put into commercial operation on October 1, 2013. Since then, the converted aluminum has always been of high quality, exported to many countries around the world such as India, Korea, Japan, Switzerland...

Lam Dong Aluminum Company's aluminum products are ordered by many countries around the world to produce many high-value items.

With the attention, direction, facilitation, and support in all aspects of the leaders from the Central to the local levels; the close and effective coordination of units and partners together with the spirit of solidarity, democracy, and constant innovation of all staff and workers, Lam Dong Aluminum Company has achieved many outstanding results. This is the foundation for the Company to maintain stable production and sustainable development throughout the past time and the upcoming journey.

According to the latest report, the cumulative results from the time of commercial production to September 30, 2025, the enterprise has produced over 7 million tons of converted aluminum. The profit earned after 12 years of commercial operation is estimated at nearly 3,000 billion VND. Thereby, since its establishment, the enterprise has also paid nearly 3,000 billion VND to the State budget. Currently, Lam Dong Aluminum Company has created jobs for 1,339 workers with a monthly income of 19.5 million VND/person.

Along with that, in the development process, Lam Dong Aluminum Company has together with Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group (TKV) contributed hundreds of billions of VND to invest in infrastructure development in localities in the mining area such as building roads, schools, community centers and social security and humanitarian charity activities in Lam Dong province. Thereby, actively contributing to the socio -economic development of the locality, building the image and brand of the unit in the Central Highlands in particular and the whole country in general.

Grow and develop

Promoting the achievements, in 2025, Lam Dong Aluminum Company sets targets according to the production and business plan assigned by TKV Group with the following targets: Refined ore output reaches 1,998,000 tons; converted alumina output reaches 741,000 tons. Alumina consumption output reaches 685,000 tons, bringing in revenue of 3,397 billion VND.

It is expected that in 2025, Lam Dong Aluminum Company will pay the State budget more than 1,055 billion VND, equal to 363% of the plan. Profits generated through production and business activities are estimated at 116.3 billion VND, equal to 352.4% of the plan.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Phong, Director of Lam Dong Aluminum Company, in order to complete the set targets, from the beginning of the year, the Company has developed a plan and implemented a number of key tasks such as coordinating with the locality to carry out compensation and site clearance to ensure timely and sufficient electricity for exploitation; continuing to manage technology well, maintaining stable and effective operation of the entire Lam Dong Bauxite - Aluminum Complex production lines.

Comrade Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee, discussed with leaders of Lam Dong Aluminum Company about the unit's production and business activities.

In particular, the Company has effectively implemented the 90-day and night labor emulation movement in the first quarter of 2025, which was implemented by Lam Dong Aluminum Company - TKV according to the Joint Plan dated December 23, 2024 between the General Director and the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Coal and Minerals Trade Union. At the same time, implementing cost-saving solutions, good price management, continuing to ensure the production and business efficiency of the Company and the entire project.

In addition, the Company continues to promote the digital transformation and automation program, putting into operation the smart production management and operation system, managing all production and business information in real time; developing information technology infrastructure, security systems according to standards, ensuring system security and safety to meet the digital transformation process in production and business.

The work of controlling environmental parameters through the monitoring system is always maintained and ensured. The company also focuses on planting trees in vacant land and restored areas; regularly takes care of and beautifies the campus of the units to meet the criteria of "Bright - Green - Clean" and the model of "Factory - Park".
