These days, the atmosphere of labor production competition is taking place vigorously, spreading strongly in industrial parks and factories in Ha Tinh . Towards the celebration of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Day on October 13, many enterprises, business associations and local authorities have been implementing many practical and meaningful activities.
At Ha Tinh Petroleum Company, the emulation movement was widely launched, more than 400 employees competed to increase sales output to achieve achievements to celebrate Vietnam Entrepreneurs Day. Due to the impact of storm No. 10, many of the company's stores were damaged. In order to avoid business interruption, the unit increased the arrangement of a number of mobile sales points; at the same time, focused on overcoming and repairing damaged infrastructure systems.
Mr. Truong Doan Duc - Deputy Director of Ha Tinh Petroleum Company said: "The production and business emulation movement has contributed to significantly increasing the company's sales and output. Up to now, the company has sold more than 177,000m³, an increase of 2% over the same period and reaching 70% of the 2025 plan. Revenue reached 2,883 billion VND, contributing more than 284 billion VND to the state budget. Along with that, the company will implement many social security activities, caring for and encouraging employees on this occasion."
To spread the spirit of labor and production to its affiliated units, from the beginning of September, Ha Tinh Minerals and Trading Corporation launched the emulation movement "90 days and nights" of good production and business to celebrate major political events, especially to achieve achievements to celebrate Vietnamese Entrepreneurs' Day on October 13. The "90 days and nights" emulation campaign of Ha Tinh Minerals and Trading Corporation will end on November 30 with the goal of "reaching the finish line" of revenue of 500 billion VND (revenue of September, October, November - PV).
Mr. Le Viet Thao - General Director of Ha Tinh Minerals and Trading Corporation said: "Although we are focusing on overcoming the consequences caused by storm No. 10, we still maintain stable production and business activities. Accordingly, the company has directed its member units to develop specific plans, organize preliminary and final reviews for each stage; at the same time, there is a timely reward mechanism for groups and individuals with good initiatives and high efficiency in work. On this occasion, the unit also organized visits and gave gifts to families of workers in difficult circumstances to encourage workers to work with peace of mind".
For employees at VNPT Ha Tinh, this year's Vietnamese Entrepreneurs' Day has a special meaning as the unit is entering a comprehensive reform to better suit the 2-level local government model. Accordingly, from 12 district-level telecommunications centers, VNPT has rearranged them to 9 regional telecommunications centers. With the new model, VNPT will operate according to a clearer process, clearer people, clearer work; creating favorable conditions for employees to improve work efficiency. The new model officially came into operation from October 1.
Mr. Tran Xuan Dung - Deputy Director of VNPT Ha Tinh said: "The organizational innovation not only helps to streamline the apparatus, but also improves production and business efficiency, associated with the implementation of digital transformation tasks according to Resolution 57-NQ/TW. The unit also launched an emulation movement, and will organize a meeting and reward ceremony for individuals with outstanding achievements on the occasion of Vietnam Entrepreneurs Day".
Along with businesses, many business associations in the province also actively carried out meaningful activities. From September 19 to 21, the Ha Tinh Young Entrepreneurs Association participated in the 1st National Vietnamese Young Entrepreneurs Pickleball Tournament in 2025. Before that, the Ha Tinh Business Association organized the 3rd Open Golf Tournament. The sports competitions aim to create a playground for exchange, create business cooperation opportunities for businesses and raise charity funds.
On the local government side, recently, the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province issued Plan No. 520/KH-UBND on organizing activities to celebrate Vietnam Entrepreneurs' Day. Accordingly, departments, branches and localities will base on specific situations to organize congratulatory and encouraging activities for businesses to ensure practicality, avoiding formality and ostentation. It is expected that on October 10, the province will organize a meeting with typical businesses and entrepreneurs to recognize and honor the contributions of the business community in socio-economic development.
Mr. Le Duc Thang - Chairman of Ha Tinh Business Association shared: “After implementing the 2-level local government, business associations in districts/towns/cities were also dissolved. Currently, we are coordinating with commune/ward authorities to establish grassroots associations. Initially, about 1/4 of communes and wards have proactively established a mobilization committee to gather members and associates to participate in commune and ward business associations. Along with that, Ha Tinh Business Association is also implementing preparations and perfecting personnel to move towards the congress after October 13”.
It can be seen that this year's Vietnamese Entrepreneurs' Day takes place in a special context when the Ha Tinh business community is both focusing on restoring production after storm No. 10 and making efforts to complete the 2025 plan. Instead of organizing large-scale festival activities, many businesses choose to achieve achievements through production and business efficiency, improving the lives of workers and spreading community values - in line with the spirit and mettle of Vietnamese entrepreneurs.
