Facing the current runner-up, who has won the Japanese volleyball championship 9 times and still maintains a strong force in this year's season, Tran Thi Thanh Thuy and her teammates could not create any surprises. However, the Gunma Green Wings players also had a quite impressive match when they fiercely pursued their opponents in all 3 games, even taking the lead at times but could not maintain the advantage.
In game 1, Tran Thi Thanh Thuy and her teammates were behind by a large margin (1/7) but had an impressive scoring streak, leading 15/14. Gunma Green Wings fiercely pursued the score to 21/21 against NEC Red Rockets Club but unfortunately lost 22/25.
NEC Red Rockets dominated the second game, which was also the game where captain Tran Thi Thanh Thuy of the Vietnamese volleyball team was given a break at some point. As a result, Gunma Green Wings lost to their opponent with a score of 15/25.
Thanh Thuy returned to the field in game 3, determined to find a win for the fans with her teammates. This was also the game in which the Gunma Green Wings girls played impressively, competing fiercely for points with NEC Red Rockets. However, the class and bravery of the NEC Red Rockets players were shown at the end of the game, thanks to which they overcame the Gunma Green Wings Club with a score of 25/23, closing out the overall victory of 3-0.
Losing 3 consecutive matches has caused the Gunma Green Wings team, which Tran Thi Thanh Thuy plays for, to drop to 10th place on the rankings. Meanwhile, the NEC Red Rockets Club maintains its top position after 4 consecutive wins. On October 25, Thanh Thuy and the Gunma Green Wings Club will play the next match, facing the PFU Blue Cats Club. This is the old team that Thanh Thuy played for before.
