Hue City supports flood victims in the North with 4 billion VND

On the afternoon of October 19, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City announced the results of a working trip to support some northern localities that were severely affected by floods after storm No. 11.

Accordingly, on October 18 and 19, 2025, the working delegation of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, led by Comrade Nguyen Thi Ai Van - Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City - visited, encouraged and presented financial support to localities severely affected by natural disasters caused by storm No. 11.

The delegation deeply shared the difficulties and losses of the people of Bac Ninh and Thai Nguyen provinces in particular and the Northern region in general due to the impact of storm No. 11. He emphasized that Hue city is always ready to join hands and contribute to the people of the whole country to overcome natural disasters and stabilize their lives.

Promoting the tradition of solidarity and mutual love, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City has called on and mobilized all classes of people, organizations and individuals in the area to join hands to support people in the flood-hit areas. In that spirit, the delegation has given 2 billion VND in direct support to the people of Thai Nguyen and Bac Ninh provinces (1 billion VND for each province). At the same time, through the City Relief Fund, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City has also transferred 2 billion VND in support to Cao Bang and Lang Son provinces (1 billion VND for each province) to contribute to overcoming the consequences of natural disasters and soon stabilizing life and production.

Speaking at the reception, the leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of Bac Ninh and Thai Nguyen provinces quickly informed about the damage situation in the area, and at the same time sincerely thanked the sentiments and timely and practical sharing from the people of Hue city. The localities committed to using the support resources for the right purpose, right target, openly, transparently and effectively.

During the working trip, the delegation also visited, encouraged and presented money and gifts to affected households in Phuc Hoa commune, Bac Ninh province; presented money and gifts to Lien Co City Kindergarten, Thai Nguyen province - a unit that suffered heavy damage due to floods to quickly overcome the damage, stabilize the facilities to help students go to school soon.

Also during the delegation's journey, the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Hue City and the Women Entrepreneurs Association of Hue City also had gifts to share with the people of the units that suffered heavy damage in Van Lang commune, Na Ri commune, Phan Dinh Phung ward, Thai Nguyen province.
