15 authors – 15 works, new creative streams

People's Artist Trinh Thuy Mui - Vice President of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations, President of the Vietnam Stage Artists Association - spoke at the closing ceremony of the Tam Dao Creative Camp 2025 on the evening of October 17.
The 15 scripts completed in the camp cover a wide range of topics: history - revolution, politics, social psychology, and contemporary issues about people in the new era. Each work not only demonstrates a diversity of styles but also reflects the effort to find one's own voice, bringing the stage closer to today's life.
According to the assessment of the reviewers, this year's camp has many good quality scripts, some of which can be staged in the near future. This is a positive sign, showing that theatrical creation activities are still maintaining a strong vitality, despite facing many challenges of contemporary artistic life.
People's Artist Trinh Thuy Mui: "The stage is still the place to touch people's hearts"
Speaking at the closing ceremony, People's Artist Trinh Thuy Mui - Vice President of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations, President of the Vietnam Stage Artists Association - shared: "I am very happy to see all the familiar and new faces gathered in this creative camp today. This is a very encouraging sign, showing that our stage is increasingly attracting many new writers, while at the same time inspiring more creative inspiration for long-time authors.
On behalf of the Vietnam Stage Artists Association, I would like to send my best wishes to all authors, hoping that you will always have abundant creative energy and continue to contribute many valuable works to the country's stage."

Tam Dao, the rendezvous of stage dreams
For many years, Tam Dao has become a familiar meeting place for theater creators. It is not only a place for authors to meditate, contemplate and write, but also a space for professional dialogue, where generations of artists meet, get inspired and exchange expertise.
In a warm and friendly atmosphere, this year's creative camp ended with the consensus of the authors: to continue to nurture the flame of creativity, to bring the spirit of Tam Dao, the pure, peaceful and emotional spirit back to the stage, to audiences across the country.
Tam Dao Stage Creation Camp 2025 is an annual professional activity and a concrete step in the strategy of developing compositions and training new authors of the Vietnam Stage Artists Association.
Through the creative camps, the association hopes to create a professional environment with theoretical and practical depth, helping authors have the conditions to "conceive" works that reflect the breath of the times, contributing to bringing Vietnamese theater firmly on the journey of integration and development.
People's Artist Trinh Thuy Mui highly appreciates young writers
The spread of the writing camp is not only reflected in the number of completed scripts but also in the faith, inspiration and learning spirit that the authors bring back after working days at Tam Dao.
Young author Bui Hong Que (Youth Theatre) emotionally shared: "This is the first time I have participated in the Association's writing camp. The working and sharing atmosphere here makes me feel like I am living in a true "stage house" - where everyone writes together, discusses together and grows together. I learned a lot from experts about play structure, how to build conflict, rhythm and especially the art of creating deep characters. I believe that this experience will help me mature more in my career."

Coincidentally, the closing ceremony of Tam Dao Creative Camp 2025 was also the birthday of People's Artist Trinh Thuy Mui. The authors congratulated the talented "captain" of the theater industry on her birthday.
