Meritorious Artist Nguyet Hang leaves Youth Theater

After nearly 35 years of association, Meritorious Artist Nguyet Hang said goodbye to the Youth Theater. “I feel sad, confused, and nostalgic because I never thought of this,” Meritorious Artist Nguyet Hang shared.

Morning of March 1st, Meritorious Artist Nguyet Hang surprised when saying goodbye to the Youth Theater. She called this her great love, the place where she has been attached for nearly 35 years of her career.

“No matter where I go or where I am, the sad, happy and joyful memories in me will never fade. Because my entire youth has been attached to you, now it has been almost 35 years. So many memories. That moment will come sooner or later. I am sad, confused and nostalgic, because I never thought of this, that we would have to part, that I would no longer be bound. Perhaps it was also fate. Thank you for accepting me, nurturing me and giving me happiness, giving me great love until now”, Meritorious Artist Nguyet Hang confided.

According to Meritorious Artist Nguyet Hang, she took on her new assignment on March 1. Although she did not share specific details, the actress said that her love for the Youth Theatre will never disappear, it will be further nurtured and spread.

Meritorious Artist Nguyet Hang was born in 1973 in Hanoi . She is a dancer of the Air Defense - Air Force Art Troupe of the Military University of Culture and Arts.

In 1990, suggested by People's Artist Le Hung, she registered and passed the acting class of Youth Theater. Here, Nguyet Hang met Anh Tuan. They got married in 1996.

Sharing in the program Behind the Curtain in October 2024, Nguyet Hang admitted that she was lucky and did not understand how she survived until now even though she only worked as an artist. Artist Nguyet Hang said that she and her husband used to receive a salary of 40,000 VND per person, but the motorbike taxi ride home cost them 20,000 VND.

"The Youth Theater is the cradle for us to live with the stage, not a place for economic support. My husband and I are completely independent because both of our parents are in difficult circumstances. Many times I also want to quit, but as soon as I know there is a new play, I let go of everything to continue to be absorbed in the characters, the emotions of joy, anger, love and hate," Meritorious Artist Nguyet Hang confided.

For the past 35 years, she has been working tirelessly on stage and television. She made her mark on the screen through roles in films such as Last ray of sunshine, Eva's secret, Bone cake, Say love, Battle of wits, Don't make mom angry, Unique way...

In 2023, Nguyet Hang was awarded the title of Meritorious Artist.
