Fish mint

To make soft drinks, you can use fish mint alone or in combination with other vegetables and fruits.

The simplest way is to use 100 - 200 grams of fresh fish mint, wash it, soak it in diluted salt water for 30 minutes, then remove it, drain it, then knead or crush it, squeeze out the juice and discard the pulp, mix it with 300 ml of boiled water to cool, divide it into 2 drinks a day, you can add a little rock sugar or chill it to make it easier to drink.

Better yet, put all the vegetables and 500 ml of water in a blender, blend until smooth, then take it out, filter through a sieve to remove the pulp, take the juice, and divide it into several servings to drink.

For those who cannot stand the smell of fresh fish mint, take 50 grams of dried fish mint (use both stem and root) and boil or steep with boiling water in a sealed container. After about 20 minutes, it is ready to use. Add a little rock sugar and divide into several drinks a day.

You can also combine fish mint with bitter melon, cucumber, watermelon, jicama, watercress, pineapple, squash, coconut water... to make a refreshing drink.

The formulas are as follows:

200g fresh fish mint, 2 bitter melons. Wash both, soak in diluted salt water for 10 minutes, take out fish mint, drain, remove seeds from bitter melon, cut into pieces, then put everything in a blender with 200ml cooled boiled water, blend until smooth, filter through a sieve to get the juice, add sugar, divide into several servings to drink during the day.

200g fresh fish mint, 2 cucumbers. Wash both, soak in diluted salt water for 10 minutes, take out fish mint and drain, cut cucumber into pieces, then put everything in a blender with 200ml cooled boiled water, blend until smooth, filter through a sieve to get the juice, add a little rock sugar, divide into several drinks during the day.

A piece of watermelon with the rind about 300 grams, fresh fish mint 200 grams. Separate the rind and pulp from the watermelon, wash the rind and fish mint and soak it in diluted salt water for 10 minutes. Next, chop the rind and blend it together with the pulp and fish mint in a blender, filter the juice through a sieve and drink it several times a day. This type of water has a very good cooling effect.

Cut open 1 fresh coconut to get the juice. Wash 200g fresh fish mint, soak in diluted salt water for 10 minutes, remove and drain. Put the vegetable in a blender with the coconut water, blend until smooth, then filter through a sieve to get the juice, divide into several servings to drink during the day. This type of water not only cools the body and quenches thirst but also has very good nutritional effects.

Note: Although fish mint has the ideal effect of cooling and quenching thirst and helping to cure many diseases, you should not use too much at one time or many times a day, especially for people with weak spleen and stomach, or those with frequent abdominal pain, diarrhea and digestive disorders.

In addition, you should choose green, medium-sized fish mint leaves with fresh, unwilted stems; avoid using wormy and yellowed vegetables.
