Mr. Hoang Van Nghiem re-elected as Secretary of Lang Son Provincial Party Committee

On the afternoon of September 25, the 18th Congress of Lang Son Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030 continued its working program.

The Congress divided into 6 groups to discuss personnel work to introduce and elect the Provincial Party Executive Committee for the 18th term, 2025-2030; at the same time, carry out the nomination and election in the groups according to regulations.

The summary results show that the delegates all highly agreed with the list of nominees for the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Term XVIII, 2025 - 2030, prepared by the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Term XVII. No delegates ran for election or were nominated to the list of nominees for the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Term XVIII, 2025 - 2030.

At the Congress, delegates voted to approve the criteria, structure, and number of personnel for the Provincial Party Executive Committee for the 18th term, 2025-2030; 100% of delegates agreed on the list of candidates for the Provincial Party Executive Committee for the 18th term; agreed on the list of 15 members of the Congress Election Ballot Counting Committee. At the same time, voting was conducted to elect the Provincial Party Executive Committee for the 18th term according to regulations.

As a result, 52 comrades were elected to the Provincial Party Executive Committee for the 18th term, 2025 - 2030.

Also at the Congress, delegates continued to discuss to clarify the results achieved by the Provincial Party Committee in the 2020-2025 term and contribute to supplementing and perfecting the congress documents, towards successfully implementing the goals and tasks for the 2025-2030 term.

The content of the presentations mentioned the work of developing science, technology, innovation and digital transformation, building a startup ecosystem; promoting the strength of great solidarity among ethnic groups, contributing to the successful implementation of socio-economic development goals, Party building, and government at all levels in the 2020-2025 term, key directions and tasks for the 2025-2030 term; building and promoting the combined strength of the entire political system and the entire people in performing the task of managing and firmly protecting territorial sovereignty and national border security; developing tourism, tourism infrastructure, increasing the contribution rate of the tourism industry to the total product in the area...

The Congress also heard the announcement of the results of the first meeting of the 18th Provincial Party Executive Committee. According to the announcement, the 18th Provincial Party Standing Committee consists of 14 members. Secretary of the 17th Provincial Party Committee Hoang Van Nghiem was re-elected as Secretary of the 18th Provincial Party Committee. Comrades Doan Thi Hau, Nguyen Canh Toan, and Doan Thu Ha were elected to hold the position of Deputy Secretaries of the Provincial Party Committee.

The Congress also elected the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission consisting of 11 members. Standing Committee member of the Provincial Party Committee Hoang Van Quy was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission for the 18th term, 2025-2030.

On behalf of the Executive Committee of the 18th Lang Son Provincial Party Committee, Provincial Party Secretary Hoang Van Nghiem promised to work with the Provincial Party Committee to continue promoting the spirit of solidarity, fine traditions and valuable experiences of the Party Committee, and upholding the Party's principles.
