OpenAI sells ChatGPT Go package for only 132,000 VND in Vietnam

ChatGPT Go integrates GPT-5 with many notable improvements such as higher message and upload limits, fast image generation speed, expanded memory and context processing capabilities. The service also provides controlled deep learning features and GPT customization capabilities, meeting the diverse needs of individual users to small and medium-sized businesses.

The emergence of ChatGPT Go at a competitive price is expected to promote AI application in emerging markets in the region, while creating momentum for the development of the IT ecosystem in Vietnam.

ChatGPT Go will compete directly with Google AI Plus, Google's artificial intelligence service that costs about 122,000 VND per month. Google AI Plus allows users to access the Gemini 2.5 Pro model - the most powerful version today, along with the in-depth Deep Research feature on this platform.

In addition, Google AI Plus also supports limited video creation via the Veo 3 Fast tool, using NotebookLM, and integrating Gemini in the Google ecosystem. Users also enjoy 200GB of shared storage for Photos, Drive, and Gmail, providing a seamless experience for work and play.

In addition to the familiar free package, OpenAI now offers two additional paid packages for individual users in Vietnam. The ChatGPT Plus package costs VND522,500 per month, while the premium ChatGPT Pro package costs VND5,225,000 per month.

Both plans upgrade usage limits, add video creation features via the Sora tool and Codex agent – a powerful programming assistant, allowing users to take advantage of AI not only in content creation but also in software development support. In particular, Pro plan subscribers also have access to new features in advance, providing the advantage of the most modern and optimal technology experience.

For business customers, OpenAI introduces the ChatGPT Business package at a price of 649,000 VND per person per month. This package is specially designed to serve the needs of large-scale AI use, maximizing support for group work, information security and centralized management. The diversity in package options helps OpenAI meet the needs of many users with the common goal of improving work efficiency and creating smart content.

The launch of ChatGPT Go – the lowest-cost version – comes amid a boom in the AI market in Vietnam. According to the report “Vietnam Consumer AI Market 2025” published by Decision Lab, ChatGPT currently holds 81% of the AI user market share, far surpassing competitors such as Gemini with 51% and Meta AI with 36%.
