Quang Nam PC provides continuous power during 9 days of Tet holiday

PC Quang Nam has organized a comprehensive inspection of the work to ensure electricity supply for Tet. The total peak capacity Pmax is forecast to be 348.3 MW (on the afternoon of the 29th of Tet), an increase of 6.45% compared to Tet Giap Thin 2024.

Regional power units proactively work with localities to grasp power supply needs and develop power supply plans to serve events, cultural activities, festivals, and entertainment venues during the Lunar New Year.

Recently, PC Quang Nam has focused on implementing solutions such as: Strengthening inspection, detecting and promptly handling defects of power source equipment, power grid, 13 unmanned 110kV transformer stations; replacing and switching 62 load transformers to prevent overload during Tet; checking private telecommunications systems; checking to ensure safety of high-voltage power grid corridors... to avoid incidents during the Lunar New Year holidays.

The company has coordinated with the police to inspect fire prevention and fighting, protect the power grid; coordinated with local authorities to increase propaganda on the press system from the province to the commune and through Zalo, Facebook... on safe electricity use, fire and explosion prevention.

In particular, people should be advised not to erect flagpoles or flagpoles near power lines, not to shoot fireworks near the power grid safety corridor, to avoid the risk of electric discharge that could endanger human life and cause power grid incidents; and not to use many high-capacity electrical devices at the same time on New Year's Eve to avoid household and local power outages.

PC Quang Nam has assigned leaders to direct and strengthen operations to ensure continuous power supply; forces are on duty 24/7 to handle incidents (if any), promptly restoring power supply to serve customers during the Tet At Ty holidays.

The company also fully prepares materials, equipment, spare fuel, communication systems, backup generators, ready to quickly handle damages and incidents.
